What are polymer plantation shutters?

Polymer shutters, commonly known as PVC shutters are our most commonly sold type of plantation shutters. They are highly durable and can be used in both wet and dry areas of the home.

Do your PVC plantation shutters have an aluminium core?

Yes. All of our PVC (polymer) plantation shutters have an aluminium core to provide extra strength and support to prevent bowing or warping.

Can I have timber plantation shutters installed throughout my entire home?

Although aesthetically pleasing, traditional timber plantation shutters are more fragile than PVC and can only be used in dry areas of the home.

What are aluminium plantation shutters used for?

Aluminium plantation shutters are a great solution for wet areas of the home as well as outdoor areas.

Do your plantation shutters come with any warranty?

Yes. All of our plantation shutters come with a 25 year manufacturers warranty.

How can I get a quote?

One of our specialists will attend your home free of charge to measure your windows and/or doors. To arrange your free in home measure and quote simply contact us by clicking here or call us on 02 9188 8837 and one of our friendly team members will contact you to arrange a suitable day and time to suit your needs.

I already have the measurements, am I able to get a quote based on these?

Absolutely. If you have the window schedule or measurements for your windows and/or doors, simply email this information to sales@shuttershq.com.au and we will put together your quote based on these measurements. However should you decide to proceed with your order one of our specialists will still need to attend your home or building to perform a check measure to ensure the accuracy of the measurements provided.

What will happen on the day of my in home measure and quote?

One of our highly trained specialists will attend your home on the nominated day and time to take measurements of your windows and/or doors and will discuss with you the options in regards to the layout and style of your new plantation shutters. All of our specialists will bring samples of our products to show you so you can see and feel the quality for yourself before making any decisions.

I’m happy with the quote you have provided, how do I proceed with my order?

After a specialist has attended your home to provide you with a quote, you will also receive an electronic version via email in which you can choose to accept the quote via our online platform. Once you have accepted your quote, you will be prompted to accept our terms and conditions and pay a 50% deposit of the total order cost to initiate your order.

How do we pay for our order?

You will be provided with an electronic invoice to pay 50% of your order on acceptance of the quote, with the further 50% due on the day of installation. Electronic invoice give you the option to pay by debit or credit card as well as provide you with our business bank information should you wish to do a bank transfer. Cash is also accepted.

Do you offer any other payment options?

We now also offer an interest free payment plan option so you can have your brand new custom made plantation shutters installed and pay them off over a period of time between 6 months and 36 months depending on the total amount of your order. How long after my shutters are ready will they be installed?

As soon as your order is ready, one of our friendly staff members will contact you to arrange installation of your new custom made plantation shutters. How soon they’ll be installed will depend on your own availability as well as ours. We can usually have them installed the same week they are ready.

How much do you charge for installation?

We provide FREE installation for all of our customers.

How long does installation take?

This all depends on the size of the job. Installations typically take a few hours. Larger jobs can take a full day.
